Firefighter Shadow Matching : FREE 4 Shadows to Be Matched
One of the most popular printables among my kids are the shadow matching activities.
It’s interesting because they would need to challenge themselves to pay attention to details, in order to find the matching shadows.
For today, I am thrilled to share our latest printable, the Firefighter Shadow Matching printable!
Firefighter Shadow Matching
This is a no prep activity and I love it because it develops my kids’ scissors skills, eye-hand coordination and more fine motor skills at once!
It may looks simple, but it develop a lot of early learning skills for toddlers and preschoolers.
How to Use Firefighter Shadow Matching
First, let your kids cut all the pictures, not the shadows.
But if you are not ready to pass the scissors yet, you can pre-cut those pictures.
Then, let them find and sort the matching shadows for each pictures.
It may take a while for them, but let them work their way.
Once they found the matching shadows, paste the pictures onto its shadows.
While at this, you can talk about the name of the firefighting things that they are matching, the colors, and discuss more about fire safety.
