These activities are meant to help your little learners with number recognition. It helps in the long run when they can instantly recognize what number 1 looks like, or how number 5 looks like.

Have you ever encountered your kids getting scrambled up when they practice counting? Such as 1, 2 and suddenly 5.

I find counting using 10-frames is helpful to help little learners see clearly the quantity of the objects they’re counting and yet to count.
