Yep.
Let’s take a peek.
#1: Cutting Printables
First, we’ll take a look at the first few cutting pages.
Your little ones will get to practice their scissors cutting activities; from cutting the lines, to cutting some shapes, to cutting some pictures.
Sorting Activities
Now, let’s sort some Easter stuff. Your little learners will be having so much fun sorting by size, color, emotion and types.
#2: Sort by Size
It’s quite straightforward.
Get your kids cut all the Easter things. Then sort to the big and small columns.
Each column has a “hint”. The column for big things has big picture, and the column for small things has small pictures.
Or if your kids can’t see it, point to them which column is for big things and which for small things.
#3: Sort by colors
This activity is perfect to teach little ones about the name of colors.
Let your little learners cut all the pictures and sort to the colors.
Each column have hints about which color they belong to.
#4: Sort by Type
Some chicks might disguise themselves as a bunny. Can you identify which is which?
Let’s sort by their type, which are chicks and which are really the bunny.
#5: Sort by Emotions
You’re going to love this activity because we’re going to discuss emotion words and what triggers such and such emotions.
Since it’s the holiday season and you’ll be gathering with some extended family, you’d want your kids to be able to communicate their emotions clearly with you.
To do this activity, cut all the carrots and bunny faces. Sort them into the appropriate Easter egg emotion mats.
See, there are lots of cut-and-paste and hands-on activities, right?
No glitter or slime is needed here.
