Easy Thanksgiving Letter Sorting Cut-and-Paste Letter Recognition Activity
Are you looking for fun letter printables to introduce your preschool kids to letters?
Check out our Thanksgiving Letter Sorting, fun-filled with colorful and adorable Thanksgiving theme images.
How to use this resource?
When I was first introducing letters to my little kids, I found it easier to introduce only a few letters at a time.
One Letter at a Time
For beginners, I’d suggest that you do one letter mat at a time.
That means you’ll have to pre-cut the fruits with letters and let your kids sort the fruits accordingly.
Hint: Using a sliding paper cutter will save you so much time.
Or, for very beginning learners, just cut the corresponding fruits and have your toddler or preschool kids paste them on the matching letter mats.
Next, Give 2 or 3 Letters to Sort
Once they get the concept, you can try to put out 2 or 3 letters and have them sort the letters accordingly.
There are 4 themes letter sorting mats in this Thanksgiving Letter Sorting packet:
- Basket Letter Mats
- Cornucopia Letter Mats
- Casserole on the Table Letter Mats
