Have you tried our week 2 January lesson plan idea in the previous post?
For week 3 of January, I’m planning something that includes winter things such as a snowman and hot cocoa.

We love routine.
This means the kids know what activity to expect for the day.
Every day would include activities for:
- ABC letters
- Fine motor activities
- Numbers and counting
#1: Letter Activities for Winter Lesson Plan
For this week, we will be doing a mixture of letter craft and “just” craft activities.
We want our kids to have a blast, right? So, why limit to letter craft, ahah.
This week, we will do H for Hot Cocoa, T for Tree, S for Snow (snow falling from the s-shaped clouds) and S for Snowman.
Just print the printables and assemble the winter things while discussing them with your kids.

#2: Fine Motor Skills
I’ve also included some Winter printable activity suggestions, such as cutting, pasting, and sorting activities. The activities mainly come from this cute Winter fine motor packet and others.
If your kids don’t like cutting and pasting, I’ve got you dot activity pages. You can color in the dots or dot using the dot markers or dot stickers.
#3: Numbers and Counting
Finally, numbers and counting activity.
This week, on top of number puzzles for number orders and counting activities, we are also having measurement cards (that measure height, length and distance) and color by numbers printables.
Counting activities would be so much fun this week.
Let’s recap our daily activities for the week.
It’s simple and plain fun.
Let your kids take their time and immerse themselves in the theme.
